Who are The Grooming Angels?

We are a team of experienced and qualified groomers who provide convenient and gentle pet grooming services at your home and in our grooming lounge.

Do you have a Grooming Salon?

Yes we do! We are located at 31A East Coast Road, Singapore 428752 (Level 2). Come by and say Hi to our Angels!

What services do you provide?

We are able to groom Dogs, Cats, Rabbit and Guinea Pigs of all breeds, ages and coats.

We have a range of services that include, scissoring, hairstyling, basic grooming and even skin and coat treatments.

What are your operating salon hours and days?

Our groomers provide grooming services from 10.30am - 6pm daily. The same applies to our customer services platforms, Facebook, Instagram and Whatsapp.

Can I send my pet to the groomer's house instead?

Unfortunately, this is not allowed. We are a mobile grooming service that strives to provide a low-stress, comfortable grooming experience for your pets in the comfort of their own home.

What do I have to prepare before my appointment?

Our groomer will bring all necessary grooming equipment, such as a grooming table (large dogs will be groomed on the floor), electric clippers, shears, and force dryers. Here are some things you need to prepare:

  • A space ready for the groomer to work in, preferably a room to prevent fur from getting everywhere.
  • An accessible electrical power point for power supply.
  • Two clean towels for your pet (if a bath is involved).
  • For light cleanup: a plastic trash bag, a vacuum cleaner, or a broom and dustpan.

What do I have to inform the groomer before my appointment?

Please inform our groomers of any illnesses, injuries/wounds, or aggressive/unpredictable tendencies that your pet might have.


How do I make a booking?

Bookings can be made conveniently through our online booking portal here.

How long in advance should I make my appointment?

We encourage booking your appointment with us at least 1 day in advance.

How do I know if my booking is confirmed?

Once your booking has been processed and confirmed, a confirmation text/email will be sent to you. Do ensure that the contact details that you’ve provided are accurate so that you will receive your confirmation in a timely manner.

I have to cancel my appointment at the last minute, what should I do?

Please WhatsApp or drop us an email at least 48 hours before your appointment to reschedule.

Can I choose the groomer that takes my appointment?

Yes. If you have a preferred groomer, please indicate your request when booking your appointment. While we will do our best to accommodate your request, this will be subjected to the groomer’s availability. If the groomer of your choice is unavailable on your chosen date, we will get in touch with you to rearrange for an alternative booking slot.

Can I book an appointment personally with the groomer?

Unfortunately, you can’t. All appointments must be made through The Grooming Angels’ online booking system or through our business WhatsApp. If you have a preferred groomer in mind, please put in a request when you make your appointment with us.

Do I have to make a deposit when I book?

For Housecall Bookings and Salon Transport Bookings: Yes. To secure your booking, please make a deposit of $30 via Paynow to 6100 0842 or Bank Transfer to DBS 010-028627-1. Please send us a screenshot once this is done so that we can process and confirm your booking. Your booking will be forfeited if we do not receive your deposit within 24 hours.

For Salon Bookings: No further action required. Your appointment will be confirmed within 24 hours.

Cancellation Policy

Please note that once you have booked an appointment with us it means that our groomers have reserved time in our schedule exclusively for you. If you cancel or reschedule your appointment less than 48 hours before it is scheduled to take place, your deposit will be forfeited. This includes appointments where our groomer is unable to access the property, is turned away, or the client is unavailable.

If you have to postpone your appointment, please provide notice of at least 48 hours prior to your appointment to avoid your deposit being forfeited. If you reschedule your appointment with minimum of 48-hour notice, we offer store credit which you can use for your next booking but do not offer refunds.

If The Grooming Angels cancels an appointment with less than 48 hours notice, a new appointment will be scheduled without penalty to the client, subject to availability

Payments & Rates

How much do you charge per pet?

Do I make payment before or after grooming?

All necessary deposits are to be made before your pet’s grooming session commences.

Why do I need to pay the Housecall Service Fees?

The rates of our grooming services do not include Housecall Service Fees.

Are there any hidden costs that might incur after the grooming session?

We are very transparent about our prices and would like to assure you that all costs will be made known to you before the grooming session commences.

Please note that all of our grooming rates are fixed, with the exception of dematting and undercoat removal. The pricing of dematting and undercoat removal is dependent on the severity of tangles and matts, and the amount of fur and time needed to remove them respectively.

Why are prices for Dematting, Removal of Undercoat and Full/Basic Grooming not fixed?

Dematting is chargeable depending on the severity of tangles and matts in your pet’s fur while the price of undercoat removal is based on the amount of fur removed. Our rates for full/basic grooming also ranges depending on the size and weight of your pet.

How often should I groom my pet?

We recommend every 4-6 weeks at least! But this would also depend on every pet’s individual needs. When in doubt, feel free to consult our friendly groomers for advice on a frequency that is most suitable for your furry companion.

How long does a grooming session take?

A grooming session may take between half an hour to 3 hours depending on the service requested. There are also other factors such as behaviour of the pet or more complex grooming situations (matted fur, undercoat, parasites) which may extend the duration of the grooming session.

Can I watch my pet being groomed?

Most definitely. We invite all pet parents to stay on to watch the grooming process. However, if your pet becomes too distracted and begins to move around too much, for the safety of your pet, we may need to request that you watch from beyond your pet’s field of vision.

Can I take picture of my pet while it is being groomed?

Sure thing! However, we would encourage you to snap your Insta-worthy shots from a distance as your pet might get distracted during grooming and move about too much.

Are you able to groom my senior pet?

Yes we are able to. We take extra care when grooming pets that are of senior age, injured or have underlying health conditions. In such cases, we may groom your pet for comfort over style, to ensure that they are kept comfortable throughout the whole grooming process.

If you believe that your pet requires special attention, sometimes two groomers may be neccessary to handle your pet. Do speak to us before booking an appointment for further advice.

My pet is aggressive, are you able to groom him/her?

If your pet has a history of aggressive behaviour, do speak to us before booking an appointment for further advice.

If your pet should display aggressive tendencies or attempt to hurt our groomers in the course of their work, we may find it necessary to discontinue the provision of services for their safety, or ask that another groomer assists with the session if they are available. If this happens, you will be informed that an extra care fee will apply at $80.

My pet has parasites, can I send it for grooming?

Yes. We offer treatments that are highly effective in dealing with parasites and fungal issues. It is compulsory that we first treat your pet before we can proceed with any other grooming services.

For ringworms, we highly recommend a visit to the vet first to get anti-fungal medication. This will work hand in hand with our own anti-fungal treatment.

Can I make a request for a specific cut and style?

Definitely! We encourage you to freely discuss the cut or style that you have in mind with our groomers in detail before we begin grooming. If you have any pictures on hand that you could share with us, that would be fantastic and would likely result in a more satisfactory outcome.
